Tickets are now on sale for the world-renowned Pacific Wine and Food Classic, returning to the idyllic beachside setting of Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort on Saturday, October 23 and Sunday, October 24, 2021. The reimagined boutique-style invitational presents an unparalleled taste experience celebrating the bounty of Southern California with exquisite wines, lavish cocktails, and exceptional bites from the region’s top chefs.
“We are thrilled to once again spotlight our incredible local chefs while giving our guests the sensory experience they were missing over the past year,” says Pamela Waitt, President of OC Restaurant Association and founder of Pacific Wine and Food Classic. “With this year’s thoughtfully curated format, every single guest attending will experience the VIP preferential treatment. You won’t want to miss out on this beachside affair.”
Voted number one on USA Today’s list of 10Best Food Festivals in the nation in 2020, the first-class culinary event celebrates fall and one of the most exciting, fastest-growing food scenes in the United States. With a phenomenal line-up of more than 30 restaurants and food experiences, the Pacific Wine and Food Classic will highlight many favorites including award-winning giant paella from Villa Roma and Cambalache, an oyster bar courtesy of Glasspar with caviar from The Caviar Co., Central Mexican street-inspired cuisine from Descanso, seasonal farm-to-table bites from Farmhouse at Roger’s Gardens, modern Indian cuisine from Adya, delectable desserts from Miss Mini Donuts and Mixed Bakery, and more. The classic is also thrilled to welcome many first-time participants to the event, including Michelin-recognized Fable & Spirit, Scarlet Kitchen & Lounge, and Sweet Surrender Bakery.
One World Meat Company will also showcase premier culinary experiences while supporting participating restaurants with its all-natural Southern California raised and sourced Brandt Beef. “We are excited to be part of the Pacific Wine and Food Classic supporting local chefs and restaurateurs,” said Andre Bushaw, General Manager, One World Meat Company. “Our organization is ready to support the hospitality community and make this a great event for all.”
The epicurean experience begins after check-in as guests are greeted with a donut-garnished Carajillo welcome cocktail made with Licor 43 and espresso or cold brew over ice. Between bites, discover 40 premium wines from throughout the region including at the Garden of Eden Champagne Bar by Celebrity Cruises and the Wine Bar by Hi-Times Wine Cellars. Locally brewed beer and a variety of refreshing cocktails will also be available.
Bask in the warm sun and sweet ocean breeze while enjoying beloved returning experiences including the Silent Disco, or discover memorable new activations like the race simulator by Porsche, the classic’s official automotive sponsor. Feel the thrill of driving at some of the world’s greatest race tracks without leaving the beach.
